Joe Basquez, Jr., 77, of Waco passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 1 at 11 am at First Presbyterian Church, 1100 Austin Ave. with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 31 from 6 to 8 pm at OakCrest Funeral Home.
Joe was born December 28, 1940 in Waco to parents, Mary (Martinez) and Jose Basquez, Sr.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Joe Basquez, III; brothers, Nick, David and Ben; and sister, Mary Louise.
Joe is survived by his wife, Diana; son, Francis Bray and wife, Vonda; 2 grandchildren, Vanessa and Brooke Bray; brothers, Jimmy, Rudy, Tommy and Lupe; and sisters, Eva, Kay, Dolores, Dorine, and Dora.
