Joe Beard

Joe Beard, 89, of Waco, Texas passed away on December 14, 2023. Graveside services will be Tuesday December 19, 2pm at Waco Memorial Park. Pastor Tom Gutierrez of First Woodway Baptist Church officiating.

Joe was born on November 1, 1934 in Lubbock, Texas to his loving parents Vinnie Lou and Wesley Lee “Jack” Beard. He retired from CertainTeed in Waco, where he was a shift supervisor for 25 years.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, John and James Beard; and spouse, Hazel Everage Beard.

Joe is survived by his children, John Eric Beard and April Ann White; stepchildren, Diane Everage Hofacket, Canzada Everge Schoonover, and Debra Everage Plourde; and numerus grand and great-grandchildren.

Joe will be greatly missed by his family, his companion Gisela Lopez and her extended family, and many friends.
