Joe David Calvo

Joe David Calvo, 41, passed away on January 15, 2024, surrounded by loved ones.

A visitation will be held at OakCrest Funeral Home on Thursday, January 25th from 6-8 p.m. with the funeral service on Friday, January 26th at 11 a.m. Interment will be held at Oakwood Cemetery following the service.

Joe David Calvo was born on July 24, 1982 in Waco, Texas to Jose Calvo and Yvonne Campos. He had a great sense of humor and loved to joke about everything. He enjoyed being outdoors and anything that had to do with nature. Joe David grew up helping his mom raise his siblings and loved his kids with all of his heart. Joe was a loving son, brother, and father.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Sammie and Hortense Campos, and aunts, Elena Campos and Olivia Caulfield.

He is survived by his mother, Yvonne Campos-Estrada; siblings, Yvonne Rose Estrada, Jaime Estrada, Jr., and Joshua Shane Estrada; children, Delilah and Joe Calvo, Jr.; niece and nephew, Marley and Noah Estrada; other survivors include uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers are Joshua Estrada, Jaime Estrada, Jr., Jerry Campos, Chris Riggins, Jason Coleman, and Josh Kuster.
