Joe Herrera
Joe "Toro" Herrera, 30, of Waco passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Baylor Scott and White in Waco.
Joe was born September 28, 1992 to Jose Herrera and Laura Sierra. On December 19, 2014, he married his wife of 9 years Marissa (Macias) Herrera, and they have 3 beautiful children. Joe loved spending time barbequing for his family and watching soccer and football games.
He was preceded in death by his aunt, Bertha Resendez Sierra; maternal grandparents, Alicia Sierra Gutierrez and Anacleto Sierra; and paternal grandparents, Jose Herrera and Soledad Herrera Gonzalez.
He is survived by his wife Marissa Herrera; three children, Joe Herrera, Jr., Abraham Herrera, and Myla Herrera; father, Jose Herrera; mother, Laura Sierra; sisters, Alicia Viridiana "Viri" Sierra and husband, Luis Vaquera, and Jennifer Herrera; father in law, Chris Macias and wife, Carolyn; and several nieces and nephews.
