Joe Juarez
Joe Angel Juarez, 54, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, November 18 at his residence. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday at the OakCrest Funeral Home with Juan Sabido officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. Sunday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Joe was a welder and handyman who for many years worked for CTIW. He was a real big sports fan, especially soccer which he played during his childhood years up to his early 30's. Joe liked soccer so much, he named his daughter after his favorite team, Alemania. He always joked and said that if his youngest would have been a girl, he would have named her Italia.
He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Juarez.
He is survived by his mother, Victoria Juarez; sons, Ricky Chavez and Jesus A. Chavez; daughter, Alemania Juarez; and seven grandchildren.
