John Brosnan
John Brosnan, born November 16, 1934, passed away on December 12, 2014.
A rosary service will be held 6 p.m., Tuesday, December 16, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4250 Bosque Boulevard, Waco, followed by visitation with the family at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 17, at Saint Jerome's Catholic Church in Hewitt.
John was born in Bronx, N.Y. to Margaret and Thomas Brosnan. He attended Cardinal Hayes High School, received a B.S. from Manhattan College, and an M.A. from Columbia University.
John married Katherine Morrison of Irvington, N.Y. on February 16, 1957.
John worked for N.Y. State, General Electric and M&M Mars. He retired from Mars in 1984 and ran his own consulting firm afterward.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine; sons, Michael of Fremont, California, Thomas and wife Meg of Cupertino, California; William and wife Joan of Reno, Nevada; and Richard and wife Patricia of Tomball, Texas, as well as seven grandchildren, Christopher, Nina, Sonia, Erin, Katherine, Alan and
Lucia.
