John N. Crosby, 63, of Waco, died, Friday, June 21, at a local hospital. Services are 2:00 PM, Thursday at the OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Anitha Jones officiating. Burial will be in the Kimmonsville Cemetery in McLennan County . Visitation will be Wednesday afternoon from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the OakCrest Funeral Home.
John was born on December 4, 1939 in Manatee County, Florida to Carl and Lilly (DeLoach) Crosby. He was united in marriage to Maxine Johnson on September 3, 1973 in Belton, Texas.
He is survived by his wife Maxine; grandchildren that he raised as his own, Emily and James Perkins; grandchildren, Christian Neal and Tyson Perkins all of Waco; son, John Crosby, Jr.; daughter, Angie Perkins of Waco; brothers, Wade Crosby and Ronald Crosby; and sister Inez Coleman all from the state of Florida.
