John Morgan

John Thomas Morgan, Jr. 77, of Speegleville died Wednesday June 11, 2003 in a local care center.

Graveside Services will be 10:00 am Friday June 13, 2003 at the Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Waco with Rev. Jim Gray officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at OakCrest Funeral Home at 4520 Bosque Blvd.

John was born on December 21, 1925 in Speegleville to John Thomas Morgan and Lula Cornelious (Short) Morgan. He was united in marriage to Billie Margaret Reeves on January 7, 1950 in Waco. He was a member of the Speegleville Methodist Church in Speegleville.

He is survived by his wife Billie; brother, Vernon Lee Morgan and wife Mary of Waco; nieces, nephews and friends.

John was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Merle Morgan Wilkerson and brother, Dennis Leo Morgan.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Royce Wilkerson, Don Reeves, Douglas Reeves, Russell Morgan, Tom Morgan, David Morgan, James Morgan, Donald Custer and Gary Lamb.

Memorials can be made to the Speegleville Methodist Church.
