John was born December 17, 1975 in Danville, IL to John Roy Nichols, Sr. and Eileen Ann Bohannon, moving to Waco in 1979. He attended TSTC after graduating from Waco High School in 1995 and managed Shipley Donuts for many years. John loved watching football and was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan from a young age. His family and friends were the targets of his practical jokes and pranks, especially his mother and grandmother. He loved spending time with his family, taking weekend trips to the coast whenever they could and enjoyed going to estate sales and antiquing. John was renewed by his faith in God and was a light to his extended family; a great husband, father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend. He was loved by many and will be deeply missed. We take comfort knowing we will see him again one day.
John was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Matthew F. Singleton, Jr., and his paternal grandfather, Lawrence (Nick) Nichols.
