He graduated from Hill Jr. College with his associate degree in engineering and began working at Tom Cuff Electric. In 1974, he took the biggest risk of his life and started Nemmer Electric where he actively remained president until his death.

Other passions of his were his Harley Davidsons, scuba diving and gun collecting.

On August 26, 1965 he married the love of his life Janice Breedlove and they had 2 children. His role as husband, father, and grandfather was his greatest love and joy.

He was the oldest of 4 children and had a strong role in each of his siblings’ lives, especially his baby sister Annette, who he raised as his own.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Janice; son, Jody; daughter, Melissa; and granddaughters, Analysa Nemmer, Maelyn Brewton and Charley Brewton.
