Joe Markum, 54, of Waco, died suddenly at his residence Monday, June 16, 2008.
Cremation was arranged through OakCrest Funeral Home.
Joe "Hamburger" Markum was born June 10, 1954 in Waco to Cleston and Helen Markum. He attended University High School where he played football. Joe was a truck driver and worked for Haltom Oil Company in Waco for over 22 years.
Joe is survived by his daughter, Tabitha Markum; ex-wife, Tonia Markum; brothers, Ronnie Markum and wife, Kay of Waco, Terry Markum and wife, Yvonne of China Spring, Billy Markum and wife Deborah of Waco; sisters, Helen "Susie" Hodder of Elm Mott, Sharon Cook and husband Steve of Houston, Donna Melton and husband, Jerry of Oglesby, Lisa Burney and Anthony Hajek of Bellmead; sister-in-law, Sonia Olivo; numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones.
