Joseph Montanio

Mr. Joe Montanio, age 54, of Hillsboro, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at his residence. Graveside funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Oakwood Cemetery with Mr. Glen MacDonald officiating. A visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Joe was born March 19, 1956 in Waco to Johnnie and Victoria S. (Abbott) Montanio, Sr. He worked diligently in automotive sales for 15 years, and was a loving husband, brother, uncle, godfather, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Amy; brother and sister in law, Johnnie Jr. and Ann Marie Montanio of Alexandria, LA along with their children George, Victoria, Mitchell , who was his godson, and Anna Katherine Montanio; brother and sister in law, James and Lisa Montanio of Austin, along with their children; AJ, Blake, and Elena Montanio; and three aunts, Adele Khoury and family, Rosemary Fadal and family and Eileen Peace and family.
