Josephine Morin Lopez, 68, of Waco passed away Friday January 14, 2005 at a local care center. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at 6 pm Sunday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd., with visitation to follow. Viewing will Saturday from 1 to 7 pm., and Sunday starting at noon at OakCrest.
Josephine was born on May 20, 1936 in Brownwood to Cresencio and Anita (Martinez) Morin. She was united in marriage to Simon (Sam) Lopez on October 1, 1960. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Catholic Women's Society.
She is survived by her husband Simon of Waco; brothers, Manuel Morin of Waco and Tony Morin of Hattiesburg, Ms; sisters, Virginia Gonzales of Kennedale, Margaret Garcia of Waco, Hope Ramos of Houston and Janie Rojas of Midland; numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends.
