Josephine "Josie" Lopez, 64, of Hewitt, passed away Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012. Rosary will
be recited at 3 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Josephine was born in Moody on Sept. 12, 1947, to Jose and Celestina Pena Sauseda.
She graduated from Moody High School. Josephine worked at E R Carpenter Company for
26 years retiring on August 24, 2012. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend. Josephine was a very giving person that went out of her way to help and care for her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Sauseda; her mother, Celestina Pena Sauseda; brother, Frankie Sauseda; sister, San Juanita "Janie" Sauseda Palacio: and her ex-husband, Johnny Lopez, Sr.


Josephine is survived by her three sons, Johnny Lopez, Brian Adam Lopez and Nicholas
Sam Lopez; stepdaughter, Danisha Cox and husband, Billy "Rusty"; three brothers,
Raymond Sauseda, Gilbert Sauseda and Marshall Sauseda; her companion of 12 years, Gerald Laird; two grandchildren, Miranda Lopez and D' Angelo
Nicholas Lopez; five stepgrandchildren, Tray, Jasin and Jennifer Cox; one great-grandchild, Cassidy Crawford; and numerous nieces and nephews.
