Juanita V. "Nita" Frey, beloved Mother, Grandmother and Gigi, passed away Monday, December 29, 2008 in South Lyon, Michigan.

Services will be Monday, Jan. 5 at 2 p.m. at the OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Mrs. Frey was born in Waco on June 21, 1921. She attended Waco schools and Four-C Business College. She married Floyd E. Frey on Oct. 19, 1946 and spent the next 40 years of married life in Ann Arbor, Michigan. They returned to Waco after her husband retired in 1980. Mrs. Frey was a member of the Ann Arbor Church of Christ, South Lyon Church of Christ and a member of Crestview Church of Christ in Waco since 1980.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Floyd E. Frey who passed away in 2004.

Mrs. Frey is survived by her daughter, Debra S. Hillmer of South Lyon, Michigan with whom she resided; son, Ronald M. Frey of Australia; three grandchildren, Michael Hillmer, Jillian Hart, Taire and her husband, Matthew Thie, and their son, Nathen, all of South Lyon, Michigan; step-grandson, Daniel and his wife, Laura Hillmer, and their daughter, Madelyn of Waterford, Michigan; one sister, Opal Archer of Waco; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Frey loved the Lord and "ran the race" to the finish.
