Juanita "Janie" Ortega, 66, formerly of Waco, passed away Monday, October 5, 2009 in Dallas. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, October 12 at First Spanish Assembly of God with Brother Vincent Carpenter and Brother David Rodriquez officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. A prayer service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, October 11 at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Mrs. Ortega was born in Waco to Juan Morales Campos and Carmen Rodriquez Campos.
She was preceded in death by her husband Chris Ortega; her father; and brother, Delfino Campos.
Mrs. Ortega is survived by daughters, Terrie Harbour and husband, Albert, Michelle Ponce and husband, Henry and Carmen Ortega and Kevin; sisters, Connie Ramon and Irene Casas; brothers, John Campos, Albert Campos, Manuel Campos, Paul Campos; grandchildren, Courtney, Justin, Jordan, Albert Jr., Nicholas, Jonathan, and Noah.
