Juanita Tovar

Juanita Tovar 81 of Waco passed away at a local nursing facility Thursday November 22, 2007. Services will be graveside Monday 10:00 am at Oakwood Cemetery with Pastor Abraham Silos officiating. Visitation will be Sunday 6 - 8 pm with a 7 pm prayer service at OakCrest Funeral Home 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Juanita was born May 6, 1926 in Coolidge, Texas to George and Maria (Chavez) Tovar. She considered her main job in life was taking care of her brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Juanita was a member of the Faith Community Baptist Church here in Waco. Juanita worked in house keeping in the hotel industry for over 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Raymond Tovar, Joe Tovar, Bill Tovar and R.H. Tovar; sisters, Augustina Valdez and Deila T. Garcia.

Juanita is survived by her brother, Leon Tovar; nephews, Frank and numerous nieces and nephews that she considered as her own children.
