Juanita Williams
July 12, 1927 – June 15, 2014
Juanita Williams, 86, of Waco, went to spend eternity with the Lord on Sunday, June 15, 2014. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at OakCrest Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Ramsdell officiating and Chaplain Lee Franklin assisting. Visitation with the family will be 1 – 2 p.m. Thursday prior to the service. A private burial will be later at Waco Memorial Park.
Juanita was born July 12, 1927 in Rosebud to Ed and Ruby (Armstrong) Sharp, and the family moved to Waco in 1929. She married Bill Williams in 1947. They had two sons, Billy and Larry Williams, and were married 66 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Waco and of the Wesleyan Workers Sunday School Class.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two sons, Billy and Larry Williams; three brothers; and a sister.
Survivors include her husband, Bill; daughters-in-law, Angie Williams and Sheila Williams; four grandchildren, Jeff Williams, Matthew Williams, Michael Williams and wife, Karrie and Michelle Williams; and two great-grandchildren, Weston Williams and Taylor Metcalf.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Wesleyan Workers Sunday School.
The family especially thanks Gentiva Hospice for their loving care for the past three years.
