Judith Sykora Jakubik Morin, 75, passed away Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Louis Catholic Church with Father Albert Laforet as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in West.
Rosary will be recited by Father David Leibham at 6 p.m. Sunday at OakCrest Funeral Home, followed by visitation. A memorial video honoring her life will be shown.
Judith was born in West to Ludvick and Anne Marie Sykora. She was a retired bookkeeper and a member of St. Louis Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Emil Jakubik in 1975 and Robert Morin in 1989; sister, Augusta Bezdek; and grandson, Noah Copeland.
She leaves a son, Clinton Jakubik and wife, Patricia; daughters, Diane Counterman and husband, Paul, Elaine Copeland and husband, Kenneth, all of Waco, and Sherry Stephens and husband, J.P. of Robinson; brother, Louis Sykora and wife, Gail of Amarillo; 11 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Clinton Jakubik, Jr., Jeffrey Stephens, John Stephens, Michael Counterman, Brian Stone, Justin Vining, Chris Brummett, and Billy Witcosky.
