Judy Harvey Lucas 67 of Waco passed away Thursday May 22, 2014 at her daughter's residence, surrounded by her loving family. Services will be held Saturday May 24, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Wheatley officiating


Judy was born October 27, 1946 in Marlin, Texas to George Terrell Meece and Hazel Ruth Foster. Judy married Arthur Lucas on August 21, 2010 in Valley Mills, Texas. Her hobbies included painting, cooking and gardening. She worked at I'm Yours and WRS, Group as a painter for many years. Judy had many family and friends that loved her and enjoyed her amazing sense of humor. Her most joy came from spending time with her husband Arthur, her beloved children and granddaughter Lunden Baylie.


Judy was preceded in death by her parents; son, Wesley Don Harvey; granddaughter,
Abigail Harvey; two brothers, Jack and Tom Meece; and sister, Carolyn Watkins.


Judy is survived by her husband, Arthur Lucas of Waco; son, Jimmy Harvey of San Antonio; daughter, Amanda Uptmor and husband, Lynn of Hewitt; son, Terry Lynn Harvey and wife, Nancy of Houston; sisters, Peggy Adkins and husband, Ronnie of Lott and Susan Kirby and husband, Rusty of Schertz; grandson, Grahm Harvey of San Marcos; granddaughter and pride and joy, Lunden Baylie Davila; sister in law, Linda Lucas of Waco; and best friend, Danielle Harvey of Valley Mills; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.


Mom, you will truly be missed by everyone here but, welcomed with open arms on the other side. I love you more!
