Julia Mcdaniel

Mrs. J. Myron (Julia) McDaniel, 101, of Waco, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2007 in St. Catherine's Center of Waco.

Julia Ann was born September 19, 1906 in Bartlett, to Hugh S. and Hattie (Roberson) Moore. She was a 1926 graduate of Waco High School. Her late husband was born in Haskell also on September 19, 1906. They were married in 1932. They lived a devoted and happy life together for 69 years until his death on October 8, 2002 at the age of 96.

They were both charter members of Calvary Baptist Church of Waco. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was devoted to her family. She celebrated her 100th birthday at a party with family and friends at St. Catherine's in 2006, and she enjoyed it thoroughly.

She is survived by her son, J. Myron McDaniel Jr. and his wife, Patsy of Waco; grandson, Mark McDaniel and wife, Charlotte; granddaughters, Jill Ann Wilkerson and husband, Leroy, and Preshia Willmann and husband Russell; and great-grandchildren, Weston, Whitney and Haley Wilkerson, Heath and Cameron McDaniel, and Dylan Willmann.
