Julia Olsen, 83 of Waco passed away Monday, December 29, 2003. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, December 31, 2003 at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
Julia was born on January 25, 1920 in Teague. After moving to Salt Lake City, Utah, Julia met and married Elmer Olsen.
During World War II Julia was employed as a glassblower at the McCulla War Plant. After the war Julia Continued working as a glassblower for the Army at the Doug Way Proving Grounds in Utah.
Julia, Elmer and daughter Jean moved to Waco in 1960. Julia was employed by American Income Life Insurance from 1961 to 1987.
Preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth Miller, Father E.W. Miller and brother Hobby Miller and husband Elmer H. Olsen.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean Dickinson, grandson, Remle Olsen and his wife Rosemary and great-granddaughters, Ashley and Amber Olsen.
