Julia Reyna Valdez, 74, of Waco, passed away Friday night, April 18, 2003, at home.
MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Lawrence Soler as celebrant.
ROSARY
Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday at OakCrest Funeral Home chapel, 4520 Bosque, with a visitation following. A memorial videotape of her life will be shown during visitation. Viewing will start at 10 a.m. Monday.
PERSONAL LIFE
She was born January 7, 1929, in Cameron, and she was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elena Lopez Ruiz, her father, Estevan Reyna, and three brothers, John Reyna, Paul Reyna, and Raymond Ruiz.
SURVIVORS
Survivors include six sons, Johnny Arispe of Valley Mills, Eleno Arispe and Jesse Ruiz, both of Waco, Ernest Valdez of Topeka, Kansas, and Joe Valdez and Mike Valdez, both of Waco; four daughters, Maria Cielo and Dora Gonzales, both of Chicago, Manuela Gongora and Irene Arispe, both of Waco, and Mary Ann Soliz of Fort Worth; 36 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
PALLBEARERS
Pallbearers will be Moses Martinez, Javier Flores, Noah Walker, Santiago Barrientos, Jose Valentino Barrientos, Rafael Robles, Aurelio Martinez, and Joe Castillo.
