June Ann McCrary Cox, age 69, of Waco, Texas, passed away on Wednesday morning, June 20, 2007 at St. Catherine's Center.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Waco Memorial Park with the Rev. Danny Niedecken, pastor of Lorena United Methodist Church, officiating.
Visitation with the family will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. A memorial video honoring her life will be shown during the visitation time.
June was born on July 7, 1937 in Waco to Chester and Garnette (Rhodes) McCrary, and has lived in this area all of her life. She was married on October 19, 1963 to Glenn Aubrey Cox. She was an administrative assistant for the Ideal Company, and worked there 35 years before retiring in 1990.
She was a member of the Lorena United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two nephews.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn Aubrey Cox; daughter and son-in-law, Jill E. Rac and husband, Steve C. Rac of Bruceville; granddaughter, Kacie Paige Rac of Bruceville; grandson, Steve Jarrett Rac of Bruceville; sister, Linda McCaskill and husband, Richard of Woodway; brother, Jack McCrary and wife, Marcile of Aquilla; three nieces; three nephews; five great nieces; eight great nephews, and a great-great-nephew.
The family appreciates the years of good friendship and support from Gladys and Dennis O'Brien and Dan Scanlon.
Memorials may be made to the Lorena Methodist Church or to the charity of your choice.
