June Eileen Warnock Frost, 90, of Waco passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord on Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 30 at OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Wible officiating. Burial will be 2 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2012, at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. Visitation will be from 12 – 1 p.m. Saturday at OakCrest Funeral Home.
June was born June 17, 1922 in Canton, Ohio to Clyde W. and Estella (Spindler) Warnock, and all of her loving family had gathered recently to celebrate her 90th birthday. She was a devoted homemaker who cherished her family. She married Major Charles "Chuck" F. Frost on November 19, 1954 in Ohio, and she was a devoted military wife for many years. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and has served him faithfully for many years. She especially enjoyed fellowship at Highland Baptist Church.
June loved family vacations and get-togethers, especially spending time with her grandchildren. She and Chuck enjoyed traveling in their RV to many states in the U.S., Colorado being their favorite. She was an avid Bridge player, and also enjoyed bowling and fishing. June loved wildlife especially Cardinals and Humming Birds.
June was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Wesley Warnock; and sister,Thelma Royer.
June is survived by her husband, Major Charles F. Frost; two sons, Wade Lehman of Waco and Gary Lehman and wife Mary of Killeen; two daughters, Rita Kapper and husband Bob of Millersville, Tenn. and Debbie Jones and husband Albert of Lewisville; son-in-law, Butch Whitehead of Waco; sister, Nancy McFarren of Waco; grandchildren, Robin and Diane Lehman, Jeff Whitehead and wife Lisa, Joe Whitehead and wife Kim, Chris Whitehead and wife Tessie, and Kimberly Blann and husband Ashley, Traci Donaldson and husband Stephen and Emilly Jones; and 12 great-grandchildren.
