June Kline

June Kline, 78, of Waco, passed away Monday, September 12, 2005, in a Waco hospital. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Mike Toby officiating.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque. A memorial video of her life will be shown during the visitation.

June was born August 4, 1927 in Waco to Albert and Clothilda (Deeley) Davis. She lived here all her life, and graduated from Waco High School. She graduated from Baylor University with a degree in education and a master's degree in mathematics and was a member of the Golden Wave Band.

She taught upper level high school mathematics for 47 years, 43 of which were at West High School. At West, she was very involved with her students at school and kept up with them throughout the years by attending sporting events and other school functions, weddings, showers and reunions.

She was very proud that many of her students went on to have careers in engineering, computer science and mathematics.

She was married June 4, 1954 in Waco to Bob Kline. She was a loving grandmother of two granddaughters. During her retirement years, she enjoyed spending time attending their functions and encouraging them in their school?work and other endeavors. She was a member of Central Christian Church.

She leaves her husband, Bob Kline; a daughter, Laura Colclasure and husband, Larry, of Hewitt; two granddaughters, Brittany and Brooke Colclasure; and a sister, Carol Lowry and husband, Tom, of Wichita Falls.
