Karen Cecile Sapp Murphy
January 5, 1957 – June 30, 2012
Karen Cecile Sapp Murphy, 55, of Waco, passed away Saturday, June 30, 2012 at a local hospital. Visitation will be 5 pm to 7 pm, Monday, July 2, 2012 at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Boulevard. A private family service will be held at a later date with burial at Oakwood Cemetery.
Karen was a dedicated and loving wife and mother who was very much involved throughout her children’s lives. She was very determined to support her family in all ways.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ed Sapp, and her mother, Betty Patton of Valdosta, Georgia.
Karen is survived by her loving husband, Randy; daughters, Kathryn and Meredith Murphy; son, Randall Clay Murphy and wife Nikki; two grandsons, Maison and Miles Murphy; mother- and father-in-law, Lou and Clay Murphy; sister-in-law Twila Keeton and husband Billy; and other cherished nieces and nephews.
The family would like to acknowledge a special thank you to Scott and White Hospital in Temple and Providence Hospice for all of the care, love and attention that they gave to Karen.
