Kathy Brace, 55, of Hewitt, passed away December 29, 2019 after a year-long battle with cancer.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel, 4520 Bosque Boulevard, Waco, Tx., with Paul Toutant officiating. There will be no visitation.
Kathy was born January 13, 1964 in Amarillo to Wallace and Donna Toutant. She graduated in 1981 from Ellison High School in Killeen where she met her future husband, Thomas Brace.
She had a career with the State of Texas where she retired from the Department of Public Safety. She enjoyed vacationing with family and friends, and always looked forward to ladies’ night.
Kathy was preceded in death by the love of her life, Thomas Brace.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Christine Brace; parents, Wallace and Donna Toutant; sisters, Karen Beers and Heidi Saeun; brother, Paul Toutant and sister-in-law, Susan Toutant; and numerous nieces, nephews, and dearest friends, Misty and Phillip Jones.
