Kathryn Fay McDonald, 70 years old, of Waco, passed away Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008 at Providence Medical Center of Waco.
Services
The graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Waco Memorial Park, with Chaplain Curtis Holland officiating. There will be no visitation times.
Kathryn's Life
Kathryn was born in Lampassas, Tx. to Rube and Hattie Wesson on Dec. 31, 1937.
She and her sisters, Kathy, Betty and Ella Mae, were waitresses in Waco for many years.
When she was younger she worked for Desilu studios in Burbank, Ca. and in Costa Mesa Ca., Kathryn was a secretary in a law office for 25 years.
When Kathryn met Charles McDonald, she was awaiting assignment with American Airlines. She married him in Brownsville, TX.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
Survivors
Kathryn is survived by: her husband, Charles; step-son, Charles W. McDonald; two step grandchildren, Mitch and Shawn Lee; adopted daughter, Roxanne Bayes; nieces, Rachel Reed, Crystal Reed, and Brenda Reeh and Nancy Mendez; nephews, David and Mark Richardson, Bob Wesson and Cody Reed; and beloved cat, Ice Crème.
