Kenneth Bottolfs
Kenneth V. Bottolfs, 87, of Waco, passed away Monday, April 13, 2009 at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 15 at the OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Suzanne Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Bottolfs served in the US Army from 1942 to 1946 during WWII. He married the former Suzanne Crawford on May 11, 1946.
Mr. Bottolfs was employed at General Tire Company for over 35 years. He served as President of the URW 312 for 12 years. He also served 2 years on the Rubber Workers International Executive Board.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Suzanne Crawford Bottolfs.
Pallbearers will be Larry Britt, Gary Butler, John Fowler, Steve Hahn, Jim Holdbrook, Billy Laughlin and Carl Stephens. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Bradbury, Emery Hall, Melvin Koester, Don Wilson, Bill Roeder and Ed Luedeker.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fuzzy Friends Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 20966 Waco 76708.
