Klynt Klimek

OBITUARY

Klynt Klimek, 31, passed away peacefully in his sleep in his home in Hewitt, TX, on Tuesday, May 3, 2005.

Visitation with the family will be held Monday, May 9, 2005 from 5 to 7 pm with the Memorial Service immediately following at 7 pm at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. in Waco.

Burial Services will be held Friday, May 13, 2005 at 3 pm at Oakwood Cemetery, 2124 S. Fifth St., in Waco. Officiating both services will be Rev. Bill Austin.

Klynt is survived by his loving wife Stacey L. Klimek, of Hewitt, his step-sons David and Steven, his sister Korryne Andreoli and her husband Greg, of Newport News, VA, his nephew T.J., his nieces Lisa and Tanisha also of Newport News, VA, and his Mother in Law, Lois A. Stokkers of Waco.

Klynt was born on January 12, 1974 in Grenada Hills, CA to Frank and LaVonne Klimek, both deceased. The younger of 2 children, Klynt was raised in a military home that finally settled in Denver, CO where he was raised. It is in Denver where he met his future wife Stacey at the tender age of 14. They grew up together and were best friends for many years. Separated on a number of occasions by geography, Klynt and Stacey finally found themselves both in Texas at the same time, although in different cities. Overcoming the hardship of distance, they became close again and rekindled a lifelong friendship that was destined to become love. That love grew ever so big and Klynt and Stacey were married on April 13, 2002 in Waco, TX. They lived very happily in Hewitt, with David and Steven and they were planning to add to the family with children of their own. Unfortunately, Klynts sudden and untimely passing did not allow for more children.

Klynt was a self educated computer programmer, and at the age of 17 started working at Farmers' Insurance Co. in Denver, as a temporary employee. His knowledge quickly moved him up the ranks, and by the time Klynt was 19, he was recruited to work for Wardlaw Claims Service, where he has been the IT Director there for over 11 years. Pat N. Wardlaw started Wardlaw Claims Service in 1965 and in 1993, Mr. Wardlaw became a Consultant to Wardlaw Claims Service and sold the company he founded to the partnership of William F. Wardlaw, Mike N. Wardlaw, Mike P. Fatheree, and Rebecca W. Clark. All of whom welcomed Klynt into their families as if he was their own. They all have nurtured Klynt in many ways, both professionally and personally. They understood Klynt; his passion and dedication to his career, the pride of his accomplishments, the joy of his humor, and most important of all, his love of life. His longtime friend, Amy Clay, also of Wardlaw Claims Service, was very dear to Klynt and he cherished their friendship immensely.

As the IT Director for Wardlaw Claims Service, Klynt was the supervising manager over the company's technical and data systems. His staff, Jeremy Knue, Amy K. Jones and Aaron Hawkins, kept Klynt on his toes most of the time, but the IT Department ran as smooth as could be during difficult projects as well as during the day to day operations. Klynts staff welcomed his knowledge, visions, and ideas for the future good of the company and stood idly by him when the pressure was high and performed to top level expectations. He respected them and couldn't have asked for a better staff to manage, mentor and to laugh with.

Honorary pallbearers will be William F. Wardlaw, Mike N. Wardlaw, Trevor Wardlaw, Matt P. Fatheree, Matt D. Fatheree, John Fontenot and Kevin Little.

The family would like to express our deepest love and admiration for Klynt. He was an extraordinary man with the most kind and caring nature to all of those around him. Klynt has touched so many lives, either personally or professionally. He was a brilliant man, and for those of us who knew him, we also knew how much love, devotion, passion, caring and wonderful qualities he possessed. Klynt will be missed for many years to come by many people.
