Kay Anderson, age 60 of Waco, was called home on Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at a Dallas hospital.
[b]Services[/b]
Services will be at 2 pm Monday at the Bosqueville United Methodist Church with burial at Bosqueville Cemetery.
Family and friends can come by the OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque (Right across the street from the Heart of Texas Fair Complex) Saturday from 9 am to 7 pm and Sunday from 1 pm to 8 pm.
Visitation with her family will be Sunday from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
[b]Personal Life[/b]
Lana Kay was born on August 3, 1943 in Waco to Virgil Alvin and Una Grace (George) Beard.
She was married to Owen Guy Anderson on August 29, 1958 in Waco. Kay retired from Owens-Illinois after 21 years. She was a recipient of a lung transplant in 1995.
Kay was a member of the Bosqueville United Methodist Church, Quilters Guild, Red Hat Society, and the New Heart and Lung Association.
Kay was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
She is survived by her husband Owen; daughters, Christina Finazzo and husband R.J., Angie Anderson of Waco and Vicky Owens and husband Mike of Riesel; four grandchildren; sisters, Julia Nelson of California and Donna Sue Harper of Waco; brother, Garland Beard of Waco.
Pallbearers will be R.J. Finazzo, Mike Owens, Harold Martin, Andy Nation, Bill Johnson and Ricky Quinn.
God Blessed Kay with the Fruits of the Spirit. It was evident to everyone who was blessed to know her and even to the ones she had just met.
