Larry Gresham, 63, of Waco, passed away at his home Wednesday, September 22, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 27, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Larry was born in Waco and graduated from Bruceville-Eddy High School. He joined the United States Army and served in Vietnam where he received the Purple Heart. He was retired and an avid Longhorn fan.
He married his wife, Patricia, on September 6, 1980 and they celebrated 30 years together.
Larry was preceeded in death by his parents, Melvin and Clara.
He is survived by his wife; stepson, Jonathan Wolfgram and girlfriend, Maika Hoffman; special niece, Leah Fogle and her husband, David and three children; beloved sister, Yvonne Elkins and husband, Royce; brother, Melvin Gresham and wife, Kathy; and sisters, Alice and Sharon.
A heartfelt thank you to all his friends and family for their love and support along with a very special thank you to Heritage Care Hospice, the Temple and Waco VA and to OakCrest Funeral Home.
