Larry Matustik

Larry J. Matustik, 56, of Waco, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2009 at his residence.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at the OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel with Msgr. Mark Deering officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 20 at OakCrest Funeral Home with a rosary service at 7 p.m. led by Father David Liebham.

Larry was born December 7, 1952 in Waco to Joe and Helon Matustik. Larry was a graduate of Reicher Catholic High School and attended the University of Texas at Arlington.

Larry worked in the home building business with his father, Joe, for many years. He was a Boy Scout while in school.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Cynthia Matustik Munson.

Larry is survived by step-mother, Frankie Matustik; step-brothers, John McBurnett and Steve McBurnett; step-sister, Martha Stewart; Uncle and Aunt, Harry and Clara Jean Matustik all of Waco; and many cousins.

Pallbearers will be Scott Pulliam, Mike Matustik, Bruce Nix, John McBurnett, Gray Huggins and David Matustik.
