Larry A. May left this earth to be with his Heavenly Father, Saturday February 23rd at Scott & White Hospital in Temple, Texas.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday February 27th at Bellmead Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Hal Helton officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Mr. May was born in Plainview, Ark. to Lawrence and Carra Jewel May. He married Ann Smith Dec 28, 1958 in Grants, New Mexico. He graduated from New Mexico State University with a BBA in Business Administration.

Larry was president of San Juan Savings and Loan in New Mexico. He served in the Army Reserves from 1956 to 1962. Larry's passion was serving his Lord in the Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Larry was a thirty second degree Mason of the Animas Lodge NO.15 A.F.& A.M.

He also was an active member of the Rotary International and other civic organizations.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and brother Ken May.

Larry is survived by his wife Ann; daughters Debbie Frederick and husband Philip all of Waco, Cheryl Hinesly and husband Ron of Odessa; son Scott May and wife Tina of Fort Worth; sister Carla Sue Johnson and husband Bob of Albuquerque; grandchildren Brittney, Deidra and husband Alberto, Carlie, Cody, Maloree, Parker and great grandson Bentley.

Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
