Larry Garcia Torres, 56, of Waco, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2010. Mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. The rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 15, at OakCrest Funeral Home.
Larry was born in Waco to Porfirio and Elisa Torres, and was a painter.
He is survived by sons, Joshua Medlin and wife Kelly, and Austin Torres; sisters, Betty Torres and Angelita Celadon; brothers, Rudy Torres and wife, Cynthia, and Jerry Torres; grandchildren, Jovey and Julius Medlin; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Rudy Torres, Ralph Vasquez, Joe Ramos, Johnny Sanchez, Albert Serrato, and Jason Torres.
