Larry Veselka
Larry S. Veselka, 61, passed away May 18, 2011, at his home in Longview. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel by Msgr. Mark Deering.
Larry was born in Waco, and grew up in Speegleville. He attended Midway schools, graduating in 1969. Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Marines. When he returned, he worked many years at the Robinson Company.
He was preceded in death by a son, Chris Veselka; father, Jerry J. Veselka; grandparents, Verrell and Lizzy Pyron and Jim and Emily Veselka; and step-father, Bob L. Corbitt.
He is survived by his mother, Marie V. Corbitt of Waco; son, Jerry Herbert and wife, Brandi; five grandchildren; aunt, Irene Rogers; and various cousins.
