Laura Odessa Williams Reid Passed away June 10, 2012 at her residence surrounded by family. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Blue Ridge Cemetery with Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday 6 to 8 p.m. at OakCrest Funeral Home.
She was born Oct 6, 1936 in Kosse, TX. to Lionel Austin Williams and Beatrice Dovie Harlan.
She was a retiree from Owens Illinois glass plant after 35 yrs. of service. She married Kenneth D. Reid Oct. 20th 1960. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, fishing, camping, and having dinner with the wild bunch.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kenneth D. Reid, son Robert Harlan Reid, granddaughter Stephanie Dionne Reid, sisters Katherine Tybroski, Doris Willis, brothers Jack and George Williams.
Survivors include David Reid of Waco, TX, Andy Reid and wife Roxanne of Cypress, TX, Daughters in Law Sharon Reid and Gena Reid, Grand children Anthony H. Reid and girlfriend Holli Woodward , Amber M. Reid and fiancée Coty Olson ,Melanie C. Williamson and husband Daniel, Meagan R. Garcia ,husband Robert Garcia, Dalton L.Reid, Darian and Konner Hendrix
Great grandchildren: Jaelynn T. Coates-Reid, Kaitlyn C.Williamson, Aiden M. Garcia, Haiden P. Williamson, Hadley M. Reid, expecting another one at the end of this year.
