Lauren Timmons

Lauren Christine Timmons, age 13, of Lorena, Texas, passed away early Monday morning, December 30, 2002 at Providence Hospital in Waco, Texas.

SERVICES

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lakewood Christian Church, 6509 Bosque Blvd., with Dr. Jerry Kirkpatrick, pastor, and Rev. Jennie Churchman officiating.

VISITATION

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, January 1, 2003, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd., Waco. (OakCrest Funeral Home is located just across from the Heart of Texas Fair Complex, 772-5272).


PERSONAL LIFE

Lauren was born June 4, 1989, in Waco, the daughter of Dr. Curtis and Mary (Scott) Timmons. She was a member of the Lakewood Christian Church.

ACTIVE AT LORENA MIDDLE SCHOOL

She was an eighth grade student at Lorena Middle School where she was active in the student council, National Junior Honor Society, athletics, and band.

LOVE AND COMPASSION

Lauren extended love, respect, compassion, and grace to everyone she met. Her love for all living creatures was felt by all who knew her.

SURVIVORS

She is survived by her parents, Dr. Curtis and Mary Timmons of Lorena; her two brothers, Cody and Forrest Timmons, both of Lorena; her grandparents, Paul and Kathy Scott of Nacogdoches, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.


MEMORIAL

Memorials may be made to the Waco Animal Shelter or Fuzzy Friends.
