Retired Maj. Lester I. Baugh, 78, passed away Saturday in Temple.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with full military honors.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Mr. Baugh was born May 15, 1929, in Swenson, Texas, to Verner I. and Elizabeth Hutchins Baugh.
Lester was a retired Army Major and served two tours in Korea, two tours in Germany and one tour in Okinawa. He also retired from Bank of America. He married Winona Littlefield in 1952 at Yucaipa, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and two sisters.
Lester is survived by his wife, Winona of Waco; sons, James V. Baugh and wife, Elizabeth of Lafayette, La., Lester Joe Baugh and wife, Aileen of Atkins, Ark., and Steve R. Baugh and wife, Susan of Waco; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
