Lillian Louise Mulkey Dunham, 87, of Waco, passed away Monday, August 19, in a Waco hospital. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the OakCrest Funeral Home chapel, 4520 Bosque Boulevard. Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Shanks Cemetery near Teague.
Lillian was born March 17, 1926 in Teague to Felix and Inez Mulkey. For 31 years she was a business math teacher in Miami. She resided at Stilwell Retirement Center for the past 21 years. She was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, and aunt who will be dearly missed.
Her son, Capt. Rowan D. Malphurs, U.S.A. Ret., predeceased her.
She is survived by her son, Frederich Malphurs and his wife, Robin Riffee of Gainesville, Fla.; her niece, Joan Killingsworth and husband J.W., of Mexia; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
