August 29, 1924 – October 15, 2013

Lillian Elizabeth (Liz) Price, 89, of Waco, wife of Lt. Col James B. Price, Ret., went to be with our Lord Father Tuesday, October 15, 2013. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2013 at OakCrest Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Moore Cemetery in Chalk Bluff. Visitation will be 5 – 7 p.m. Thursday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Liz was born on August 29, 1924 in Harlingen. Liz was a well-known, loved, respected successful business woman. She was loved by many. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and even great-grandmother. Her greatest accomplishment was her love and passion for people and her business, Liz’s She Shop.

Her beloved sister Christine Seder was her partner in business as well as her dearest friend and confidant. She was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church of Elm Mott.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chris Damants and Freda VonDiest Damants; and two sisters, Christine Seder and Ann Williams.

She is survived by her husband, Lt. Col James Price, who she was happily married to for sixty-three years.

Also surviving are her two daughters, Christye J. Price, Tammy L. Scamardo, her brother Chris Neil Damants, her four grandchildren Jennifer L. Rathmell, Leslie G. Cantwell, Lisa J. Cantwell, and Laura J. Scamardo. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be dearly missed, but always remembered.

She was the best wife, mom and nana anyone could ever ask for.
