Lillie (Lill) B. Pebsworth, 91, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, July 26, at OakCrest Funeral Home with Rev. Kip Osborn officiating. Burial will follow in Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, July 25, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Boulevard.
Lillie was born January 16, 1922 in Ireland, Tx., to Boyd and Alice Bunnell. Her first job was at the Waco Post Office, but after the war she became a teller at 1st National Bank, a position she held for 48 years. She was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church, Waco Chapter #7 of the Eastern Star, and a volunteer for Providence Hospital from 1998 – 2011. On September 24, 1955, Lillie married Herbert Pebsworth and they had one child, Vicki. Her favorite pastime was traveling, and she visited places all over the world.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Her survivors include her daughter, Vicki Pustejovsky; three grandchildren, Chad Miller and his wife, Stacy, Mandy Miller, and Mikelle Pustejovsky; and two great-grandchildren, Colton Miller and Chance Miller.
Pallbearers will be Chad Miller, Johnny Johnson, Jerry Johnson, Sterlin Barton, Bob Hawkins, and George Brinegar.
Honorary pallbearers will be Toxey Cathey, Roy Setzer, and John Post.
