Lily Chavez

Lily Chavez, 78 of Waco passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at a local hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday at 6pm followed by a Prayer Service at 7pm at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Mrs. Chavez was born in Gatesville Texas on November 12, 1927 to Bill Ochoa Sr. and Consuela Gonzales. She was preceded in death by husband Faustino Delgado Chavez, infant daughter Tina Marie Chavez, her parents and brother Bill Ochoa Jr.

Mrs. Chavez is survived by her daughters Hope and husband Robert Gonzales Sr., Connie Lopez, her brothers Sam Ochoa Sr., Ernest Ochoa Sr., Charlie Ochoa Sr., Johnny Ochoa Sr., Cecil Ochoa, sister Sandy Gonzales, six grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tino Gonzales Sr., Sam Ochoa Sr., Robert Gonzales Jr., Michael Gonzales Sr., Johnny Ochoa Sr., Ernest Ochoa Sr., Cecil Ochoa, Greg Lares Sr. Great grandchildren will be honorary pallbearers.

The family will be at Harvest Time Revival Center, 2708 Robinson Dr. Waco Texas 76706 following burial.
