Lina Woodard

Lina Tave Woodard 86, of McGregor, passed away October 20, 2021 at a local hospital.   Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, October 30th, at St Paul Lutheran Church in Crawford with Pastor Tom Beers officiating.   Visitation will be before the service starting at 10 a.m.

Lina was born March 28, 1935, in Purdon, Texas, to John W. and Loretta A. Fraley.   On Jan. 30, 1953, she married Harold C. Woodard.  They were married 59 years before his passing January 2012.

Lina spent 50 years working as a bank teller at various banks.  She loved to garden and greatly enjoyed the fresh vegetables she grew.

She is survived by her sisters, Frances and husband, Ben Wolle Jr. of Crawford, Florene
Folk of Belle Chasse, La.; and brother, Doug and wife, Sharon Fraley of Corsicana; special
nieces, Melinda Bruce and husband, Donnie, of Crawford, Kim Kroll and husband,
Brandon of Eddy, and Allison Pearson and husband, Kyle, of Crawford; other nieces
and nephews include, Bob Folk, Tina Folk, Lisa DeWeirdt, John Fraley, and their
families. She was especially fond of her great-nieces and nephews, Kayla, Lauren and
husband, Brady, Blake, Marissa and husband, Alex, Dylan, Beau, Gage, Garrett and
Graham.  Her great-great nieces and nephew, Adalynn, Aubrey, Brooklyn, and Jaxin.
