Lionel Maldonado

Lionel Reymundo Maldonado, Sr of Dallas, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Mansfield Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be held from 6pm - 8 pm, Friday, May 12, at Oakcrest Funeral Home.

Raymond was born in Ulysses, Kansas on June 2, 1951. He was the first born of 12 kids to Arturo and Elida Maldonado. He was a devoted friend loved by many and will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arturo and Elida Maldonado, two brothers, Romeo and Rick Maldonado; sisters, Rachel Seufert and Zennetta Padilla.

He is survived by his sons Lionel Maldonado, Jr and wife Jennifer, Romeo Maldonado and wife Roxanne, Christopher Maldonado all of Waco, six sisters: Romelia Maldonado, Lea Blaylock, Lisa Hernandez, Lena Dommes and Loretta Navarro. two brothers: Lee and Rene Maldonado, eight grandchildren, one great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
