Lois Hernandez, 75, of Waco, passed away December 23, 2009, surrounded by her family and worshipping the Lord together.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 28, at Mighty Wind Worship Center by Pastor Joe Carbajal. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Prayer service will be 7 p.m. Sunday at OakCrest Funeral Home.
A native of Waco, she worked as a welder at Marathon Battery for 35 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to cook and praise the Lord.
Lois leaves a son, Abraham Hernandez, Jr.; daughter, Belinda Garcia and husband, Rapheal; sister, Delores Chavez; five grandchildren, Tracie Williams and husband David, Jennifer Hernandez, Crystal Garcia, Alexander Hernandez, and Cheryl Irwin and husband, Brandon; and 11 great-grandchildren, Desiree, Merzaedez, Eli, Isabella, David, Daise, Zachery, Faith, Paxton, Kayla, and Charity.
