Lola Faye Horton, 80, of Waco, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2005 at her home in Waco.
Services will be 10 am Monday at Lloyd James Funeral Home in Tyler, Texas, 1011 East First Street with burial to follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery. Danny Neidecker and Micky Williams will officiate.
There will be visitation from 8 to 9:30 am on Monday at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Visitation in Waco will be Saturday from 6 to 8pm at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Lola was born on October 23, 1924 in Smith County, Texas to Huie and Mary (Black) York. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emery Horton; grandson, Michael Odya and daughter-in-law, Debora Horton.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharron Lucy and husband Rodney of Corsicana; son, Dennis Horton of Atlanta; grandson, Robert Lucy and wife Lisa; granddaughter-in-law, Gwen Odya of El Dorado, Ark, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Don Horton, Rodger McCaslin, Don Stanley, Lance Stanley, Lyndon White and Alan York.
