Lola Jimenez

Lola Ramirez Jimenez, 75, of Waco, passed away Monday, December 14, 2009 at Providence Health Center.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, December 18 at St. Francis Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The family will begin gathering at the funeral home at 6 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. Thursday, December 17 with visitation following until 8:00 p.m. at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Lola was born in Calvert to Guadalupe Ramirez and Concepsion Nevarez Ramirez. She was employed at the Owens-Illinois Glass Plant for more than over 25 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Lupe Ramirez; and sisters, Annita Lorence and Andrea Ruiz

Lola is survived by her children, Elaine Compian and husband, Robert, Ana J. Martinez and husband, Lupe, Leon M. Jimenez and wife, Rachel and Eddie Jimenez and wife, Teena; sisters, Joanie Garcia, Eifie Hanson, Nellie Hedary, Savena Hogeland, Mary Moreno and Modesta Chirieolla; brothers, Jessie Ramirez and Ishmael Ramirez; grandchildren, Adam Compian, Leon M. Jimenez,Jr. and wife, Christina, Alexandra E. Compian, Robert Compian, Bryan E. Jimenez and wife, Amanda, Lolita Martinez, Sophia Martinez, Steve Lopez Jr., Carlos Jimenez and wife, Gabby, E. Jordan Jimenez, Adriana R. Jimenez, Selena Compian, Marissa Jimenez ,great grandchildren, Audryna Leann Jimenez, Aiyanah Lazaye Jimenez and Michael Daniel Jimenez; cousin, Elodia Rosales and special friend, Ivonne Teriones G.. She is also survived by her former husband, Joaquin T. "Canan" Jimenez.

Pallbearers will be Leon M. Jimenez, Jr., Bryan Jimenez, Carlos Jimenez,
Jordan Jimenez, Robert Compian, Jr., and Robert Gonzales.
