Lonnie Campbell

Lonnie Campbell, 84, of Waco, passed away Saturday at his residence.

Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at OakCrest Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Mr. Campbell was born in Tuxedo, Texas to William and Velma (Farley) Campbell. He married Wanda Hobbs in Ft. Worth in 1956. He was the owner of Lonnie Campbell Painting Contractor and a member of the American Federation of Musicians.

Lonnie was an Army veteran of WWII.

Mr. Campbell is survived by: his wife Wanda; daughter, Janice Gilman (John) of West; sons, Gary Campbell of Cedar Park, James Campbell of Waco; sisters, Velma Rorie of Stamford, Lallie Faye Kirkland of Graham; brother, John Campbell of Floydada; grandchildren Malorey Dulus, Dalton Gilman, James Allen Campbell, Shelby Campbell, Jacob Campbell and great grandchild Cole Dulus.

Preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
